Why are we facilitating this retreat?

As two trained professionals working  in the wellness and healthcare sector we are coming across one main denominator in terms of short, and mid to long term health and wellness issues, which is STRESS. 


Stress is so real! And so painful! And so life energy draining! It is something you will not be able to eliminate all together but by learning about it, resetting your nervous system and gaining tools that help with short, mid and long term stress management you can grow resilience and become stress smart. 

That is what this retreat is about. 

We will give you a super relaxing, wellness like experience, paired with movement for stress management (Pilates) and Group Coaching workshops that will help you learn about stress management for the short, mid and long term solutions that are tailored to your individual response to stress.


What to expect:

Close your eyes and picture this: You wake up in a cosy bed with stunning views of the ocean and bush, feeling like a million bucks after a great night's sleep. You take a brisk dip before a scrumptious breakfast, then head to a movement class that leaves you feeling like Gumby.

Next up, you're spoiled with the most delectable vegetarian meals that are both healthy and satisfying. You'll also get to join group coaching sessions, where you'll learn about your own stress triggers and coping mechanisms, so you can tackle anything life throws at you.

During your downtime, you can unwind in a sauna with a view, take a dip in the pool, or just chill with nature. If you're feeling adventurous, there are plenty of optional activities to choose from! It's a total mind-body-soul experience that'll leave you feeling like a brand new person.

Pilates: 

We all know the importance of exercising regularly.

It helps balancing out hormones, your sleep and overall mood. After a busy day it feels amazing to simply just lie down on the ground and breathe.

 Pilates brings awareness to your body and mind. By focusing on deep breathing you can regulate your nervous system and learn to activate and engage your core, something that falls away when you are in a stress response. Maren will help you realize on a deeper level, how much fun and valuable to your overall well-being a regular Pilates routine can be. She is very excited to see you on the mat.  All levels of fitness are welcome and no previous experience is required.

Coaching:
